Directs the C&I engineering department, holding accountability for automation reliability, DCS/PLC assets, OT cybersecurity, and budgets.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain overall responsibility for DCS, PLCs, safety systems, and field instrumentation.
- Plan and manage annual OPEX/CAPEX budgets for automation systems.
- Eliminate instrumentation-related trips through redundancy and lifecycle maintenance.
- Direct automation upgrades and obsolescence-management programs.
- Manage LTSA/vendor contracts with DCS and turbine automation manufacturers.
- Develop engineering talent and competency frameworks across the team.
Technical skills: Automation architecture strategy, industrial cybersecurity governance, asset lifecycle valuation.
Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Instrumentation & Control / E&I Engineering.
Experience: 8-20+ years, incl. 5+ years in engineering leadership.
Qualification: BE / Diploma (Elec) with licence
