Manages technical integrity, preventive schedules, and reliability of assigned mechanical equipment; performs RCA on failures and oversees complex overhauls.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute preventive/predictive/shutdown maintenance schedules via CMMS (SAP PM/Maximo).
- Lead troubleshooting of recurring failures on mills, feed pumps, cooling fans, and piping.
- Conduct RCA/FMEA on breakdowns and draft technical failure reports.
- Specify spares requirements and draft procurement specifications for seals, valves, and wear parts.
- Direct OEM/contractor teams during annual overhauls and turbine capital shutdowns.
- Monitor equipment health trends (vibration, oil analysis, thermography) to prevent unplanned trips.
Technical skills: Fluid dynamics, predictive maintenance tools (FFT, oil spectrometry), SAP PM, CAD.
Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 3-6 years mechanical maintenance in thermal/captive power plants.
