Owns technical maintenance, protection scheme verification, and reliability for HV/MV generation and distribution assets.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage PM/predictive programs for transformers, incl. DGA and SFRA.
- Configure and test numerical protection relays for generator, transformer, and feeder protection.
- Oversee outdoor switchyard maintenance (66kV-400kV) — breakers, isolators, CVTs.
- Perform RCA on blown breakers, insulation failures, or unexpected trips.
- Review SLDs, schematic drawings, and protection coordination curves.
- Coordinate with SLDC/RLDC for planned isolations and synchronizations.
Technical skills: Numerical relay algorithms, transformer physics, SF6 handling, fault-record analysis.
Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 3-6 years in electrical maintenance/substation management.
Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma + 33KV Licence
