Operates raw water intake, RO, DM plant, and effluent treatment systems to supply treated water meeting boiler and process quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate RO trains, DM plant resin vessels, and regeneration sequences.
- Monitor raw water clarification, filtration, and dosing systems.
- Operate the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), managing neutralization and sludge handling.
- Record water quality parameters (conductivity, pH, silica) at defined intervals.
- Perform routine backwashing, regeneration, and resin/membrane cleaning.
- Maintain chemical dosing tanks and PPE for acid/caustic handling.
Technical skills: RO membrane operation, ion-exchange regeneration, ETP process control.
Education: ITI/Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Science background with plant training.
Experience: 3-5 years in water/effluent treatment operations.
Qualification: B.Sc
