Holds overall accountability for the plant's safe, compliant, and profitable operation — leading all departments toward generation, safety, and financial targets.
Key responsibilities:
- Own full P&L accountability for plant generation, cost, and availability performance.
- Lead Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, C&I, HSE, and Admin department heads.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance across all disciplines.
- Set annual budgets, capital investment priorities, and performance targets.
- Represent the plant to corporate leadership, clients, regulators, and community stakeholders.
- Drive the site safety culture and lead incident response for major events.
Technical skills: Power plant operations leadership, P&L management, stakeholder engagement.
Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Engineering (Management qualification a plus).
Experience: 18-25+ years in power plant operations, incl. 8+ years in senior leadership.
Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma + BOE
